Address Light Installation Instructions
Application of Vinyl Numbers
1. Plan your desired distances between numbers on the address light to ensure the best appearance. For 5-digit addresses, the spacing looks best approximately ¼” inch apart; 4 digits and less look best approximately ½” inch apart.
2. In a spray bottle, combine one cup of water with 3 to 5 drops of dish soap. Mix together thoroughly. Generously spray the soapy water solution onto the address light lens surface to allow the numbers to slide easily without sticking.
3. Remove your desired number decals from the sheet and spray the soapy water solution onto the adhesive back of each number decal. Place the number decals onto the lens surface of the address light and align the bottoms using the small raised line at the bottom of the lens.
4. Start by aligning the middle number in the center of the lens surface. Then, adjust the spacing of the other decals until you are satisfied with the appearance. Use a soft paper towel to press and wipe down each decal to remove the excess soapy water solution, allowing the decals to adhere to the address light lens.
Doorbell Transformer Installation Instructions
1. Separate the ends of the solid black wire (negative) and black with white dashes wire (positive) to allow enough length for a secure connection to your doorbell transformer. Remove ½” of insulation from the end of both wires.
2. Turn off the power to your doorbell transformer and loosen both screw terminals.
3. Connect the end of the solid black wire (negative) to the screw terminal housing the wire running from the transformer to the doorbell. Connect the end of the black wire with white dashes (positive) to the screw terminal housing the wire running from the transformer to the doorbell chime. Tighten screws back into terminal.
4. Turn back on the power. (Remember your new address light only works in the dark to save money and energy.)
5. Install your light using the included screws, and run the wires through the small clips on the back in the direction you like.
Plug-in Power Supply Installation Instructions
1. Separate the ends of the solid black wire (negative) and black with white dashes wire (positive) to allow enough length for a secure connection to your doorbell transformer. Remove ½” of insulation from the end of both wires.
2. Match the solid black wire from the address light to the solid black wire of the Plug-In Power Supply and connect by screwing on one of the provided weatherproof orange wire caps in a clockwise direction. Match the black wire with white dashes from the address light to the black wire with white dashes of the Plug-In Power Supply and connect by screwing on one of the provided weatherproof orange wire caps in a clockwise direction.
3. Plug the Power Supply into your wall outlet and check for power. (Remember your new address light only works in the dark to save money and energy.)
4. Install your light using the included screws, and run the wires through the small clips in the back in the direction you like.
